Astrology of the Sagittarius Full Moon May 29 2018, 8 10′. Break Free From Alienation

Astrology of the Sagittarius Full Moon May 29 2018, 8 10'. Break Free From Alienation On May 29th we have a Full Moon at 8° 10′ Sagittarius. A Full Moon is an opposition between the Moon and Sun and the Sun, therefore, will be at 8° 10’ Gemini. The Moon’s nodes will be at 7° 33′ Aquarius (south node — the past) and Leo (the North) making a tight mystic rectangle configuration with the Full Moon comprising Fire (Sagittarius and Leo) and Air (Gemini and Aquarius). Fire and air can consume all in its path as air fans the flames. It’s a burning down to clear out ready for the new to arise. A Full Moon is a completion and release. The ongoing triggering of the Nodes in Leo and Aquarius that began with the total Eclipse on August 21st last year is bringing another phase of completion. A fortunate one because the Mystic Rectangle is a beautiful mix of harmonious energies. The Moon in Sagittarius is about seeing the bigger picture and releasing that which is stopping you shooting your arrows of personal freedom into the future. The opposition to the Gemini Sun will bring in some information to help you to gallop into the that future. The South Node in Aquarius is a point of release of feelings of disconnection and alienation to help you to open your heart to true connection and joy. There’s a wildness to this Full Moon that is like a wild horse straining to be free of the ties that bind. Retrograde Saturn is at the mid point of the Moon and South Node...
Astrology of the Full Wolf Moon 1/1/2018 at 11˚ Cancer

Astrology of the Full Wolf Moon 1/1/2018 at 11˚ Cancer

Astrology of the Full Wolf Moon 1/1/2018 (2nd in some parts of the world) at 11˚ Cancer Time to howl at the Moon On New Year’s Day here in the USA’s wonderful West (it will be on the 2nd on the East Coast and beyond), there is a deeply emotional and powerful Full Moon. And it’s all the 1’s and 11’s. First day of the first month in a universal 11/2 year at 11˚ and 37’ — and 3+ 7 = 1. So, that’s a 1/1/11 at 11.1. And the Full Moon is aspecting Neptune in Pisces at 11˚. And it’s a Supermoon. And she is in her own sign, Cancer, adding to the power. Holy guacamole! What a way to start the calendar year!. Cancer is a water sign and is nurturing, sensitive, responsive, insecure and moody. The exact trine to Neptune in Pisces bringing in psychic sensitivity, mysticism imagination, more hypersensitivity and escapism. A wide trine to Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio adding emotional depth and complexity, obsession, and intensity to the alchemic pot. Also in the crucible of this Full Moon is the fact that a Full moon IS an opposition and this one is opposite to, not only the Sun in Capricorn, but also Venus, Lilith, Saturn and Pluto. The divine feminine presence of Venus and Lilith sandwiched between the core energy of the Sun, the transformative presence of Pluto and the mastery of Saturn in his own sign. Mix this all in the alchemical crucible of astrology and this gives us a POWERFUL kite configuration with the focal planet of the Kite being the Sun and it’s close...

Tough Times Require Unconditional Love

The next few weeks are going to be tough. And awesome. And Transformational. But not easy.   Either you or someone you know is being deeply affected. Many are in pain of one kind or another. But all will be well. If we learn the lessons we are being called to learn This is what we have coming up and building already. I will mention them all and then just talk about general energies because it’s almost too much to deal with in a blog post. Well not almost. It is! We have a big cluster of energies in Aries: Venus, Mars, Uranus and South Node, congregating around the middle of the sign. First Venus and then Mars will conjoin the nodal axis (our past and our future). Underlying everything we have the last exact conjunction of Uranus/Pluto on Mar 16 at 15 degrees (middle of signs). So Venus will join this square on March 4 followed by Mars on Mar 11. Saturn turns retro on Mar 14 (and is in square to Neptune in Pisces). Mercury moves into Pisces on Mar 12, joins Neptune on Mar 18 and the Sun joins with Chiron in Pisces on Mar 8. And we have Eclipse season which is always heightened. A Solar Eclipse at the very. very last degree of the zodiac on Mar 20 and all this finishes up with a Lunar Eclipse at 14 degrees of Libra on April 4. There is even more to this but are you already going WOW!? This is it lovelies. We have been building to this since 2012. And as a collective, since...

It’s a good day to have a good day!

I posted a meme on my Louise Edington’s Fabulous and Fearless Facebook page this morning that said “It’s a good day to have a good day!” after a conversation on my Your Cosmic Blueprint page about not sleeping much during full moons. This conversation and the meme got me thinking about choices and pivoting. Let me explain 🙂   There was a stark contrast in the reaction of different people to the lack of sleep that a full moon can bring - and last nights Blue Moon in Aquarius was powerful! Some reacted positively - saying that yes they had not had much sleep but had fabulous ideas and dreams and they would take a nap later or catch up the next night. Others reacted very differently with comments such as ‘full moons exhaust me’ and ‘if I try to nap during a full moon I have anxiety attacks’. Do you get the idea?   There is no doubt that Full moon energy can be very powerful and the nights very light. This often does lead to a couple of sleepless nights. However, the astrology that I practice maintains that we always have free will and choices and therefore, you can CHOOSE to look at the positives in this energy. Lying awake in the middle of the night I had some fabulous flashes of inspiration and I like to lie there visioning the fullness of the moon filling me up with wonderful lunar energy to move forward into the cycle. When I do this I get up tired but energized spiritually and ready to take action on the inspiration...

Love, Equality and Revolution

Today is a Full Moon in the sign of Libra and is a very powerful Full Moon at that because of other Astrological configurations. Before I talk about some of the other energies that make this a particularly potent full moon let me talk about Libra. Libra is the sign of balance, justice, relationships, art and social justice. It is no coincidence that scales are the symbol for many of the High Courts. In its shadow Libra can also have a tendency to seek peace at any price (to itself), be indecisive and have difficulty saying no. The greatest of balancing acts, and one that Libra teaches us, is the balancing act between self and others Libra is an air sign and air signs have an agile mind and are good communicators who can emphasize the intellect above all else. Often an appearance of sweetness and that of a light breeze but with the power of a gale force wind behind it. It’s all about movement and Libras evolutionary path is to develop the self through encounters with others and, thereby learning to balance the need for peace with the talent for challenging unjust situations rather than erring on one side or the other. The Full Moon is always an opposition to the Sun and the Sun is currently in Aries which is Warrior energy. Direct, energizing and pioneering. In the shadow it can be aggressive, volatile and reactionary. Now Libra full moon is ALWAYS opposite the Aries sun but what makes this Full Moon so powerful is that Mars, the ruling planet of Aries, is also in opposition....
